Further to the above
agreement regarding the excellent opportunity to open direct ticketing link
with Etihad Airways, we are glad to inform you that now, you will be
entitled to have the same arrangement of incentive with Amadeus once you
establish the direct link with Etihad Airways.
For IATA Members:
- From July 1, 2011, no commercial facilities
and outlets can levy a surcharge on consumers using credit cards.
A violation of the new
stipulation can lead to a fine up to Dh 100,000. The Ministry of Economy had
recently asked the retailers in the country to stop charging additional fees
on credit-card usage, effective from next month.
Consumers have been asked to
defend their rights and file complaints when they see violations of their
rights.

1.60%. Above special offer is valid only for NETWORK INTERNATIONAL credit
card machines. Such substantial fees reduction will be of great saving to
you and to your customers in case tickets are purchased through Visa –
Master cards. Due to the above special offer, you are now permitted not to
collect the credit card fees from the customers.
